Project: This project was completed as part of my senior art portfolio course. For this course I was encouraged to complete a project that tested or grew my design abilities. I chose to I chose to conducted research into the history of graphic design and then re-created a design based on my research. This piece was made to replicate the style of Art Nouveau.
Goal: Design a poster that showcases elements of design from Art Nouveau designs. For a personal connection, I used flowers from my home state of Alaska to create the frame and referenced an image of my great-grandmother to illustrate the women in the middle.
