Project: During the summer of 2021 Lydia Jacoby, a local from Seward Alaska, competed in the 2021(2020) Tokyo Olympics. I was commissioned to create informational graphics for The Seward Journal, the local newspaper, about her watch party encouraging the whole town to come together to support her. Spoiler alert...she won gold!
Goal: Design a simple informational graphic to effectively communicate location and time of events. Utilize fun "olympic" graphics and bold colors. Reuse original design to create two more designs to convey more events and Olympic parade after Lydia's return home.
Deliverables: printed newspaper cover, social media graphic, printed posters
Year Designed: 2021
EXTRA FUN: This design was also broadcasted on local Alaskan television!
